The two channels that i chose to focus on for this assignment were "The Unquiet Library" and "BBMS Media". The Unquiet Library: Most helpful to students: “Video Tutorial How to Embed a Prezi Presentation in Wikispaces” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7P9vSSiEHLo This video is informative and very clear with directions on how to walk kids through the proper procedures to embed information. I think that this is the most helpful to learners because it will promote a higher level of Bloom’s as the kids work towards the production stage. Students would like this the best: “Greek Mythology Project” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUb5k9rKFCA I loved this video. I thought this was a fabulous way to showcase what you have learned. I think that kids would be able to enjoy watching their peers promote education in this format. I remember that some classmates of mine did this when I was in high school and it was one of my favorite projects that were presented. BBMS Media: Most Helpful to Students: “eResources @BBMS” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht7cv39Vbr4 I think that this video is the most helpful to students because it would be able to show them all of the resources that the library has to offer. Students would like the best: “Luke Skywalker Has Overdue Books” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivht6CPe1Ek I think students would like this the best because it takes all of the serious information but uses the Star Wars platform to get it across. I really enjoyed that the film played and there was a voiceover with the information. Video Use in the Library: I would use videos to explain many different features about the library. I think that they are very helpful to be able to provide that “one-on-one” instruction in a virtual way. I also think that I would use them to promote all of the cool things happening in the library like book clubs. I really enjoyed seeing the way in which some of the libraries used YouTube as a platform to “react” to different projects or readings. Book Trailer: I chose to create a book trailer for 5 Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott. This was a book that I read last year and absolutely loved it. When I thought about the trailer, I immediately thought of this book because it is a sweet love story so I instantly knew what music I could pair it with. It was fairly easy to create the trailer using Animoto, but I didn’t like that I could see the watermark at the end (because I had the free version). Other than that, I thought that it was really easy and turned out very well. SCAN THE QR CODE BELOW TO SEE THE BOOK TRAILER! ![]() Synopsis of 5 Feet Apart: Can you love someone you can never touch? Stella Grant likes to be in control—even though her totally out of control lungs have sent her in and out of the hospital most of her life. At this point, what Stella needs to control most is keeping herself away from anyone or anything that might pass along an infection and jeopardize the possibility of a lung transplant. Six feet apart. No exceptions. The only thing Will Newman wants to be in control of is getting out of this hospital. He couldn’t care less about his treatments, or a fancy new clinical drug trial. Soon, he’ll turn eighteen and then he’ll be able to unplug all these machines and actually go see the world, not just its hospitals. Will’s exactly what Stella needs to stay away from. If he so much as breathes on Stella she could lose her spot on the transplant list. Either one of them could die. The only way to stay alive is to stay apart. But suddenly six feet doesn’t feel like safety. It feels like punishment. What if they could steal back just a little bit of the space their broken lungs have stolen from them? Would five feet apart really be so dangerous if it stops their hearts from breaking too? Ways to Implement QR Codes:
